Disc Golf has been gaining popularity lately in the Rockford area and I'm loving it.

Did you know the Rockford area is home to a Disc Golf One Stop Shop?

Though I don't get to go out and play as much as I once did, it's still nice to see a rise in area courses. Even my old high school, Harlem,  has a couple of baskets set up on campus.

Anna Page Park has always been my go-to course whenever I had the opportunity to get out and throw a disc, now there are more options. Some are in Rockford, some are a little outside of town.

Depending on how much time you have or even how far you wanna travel the list of courses available in the area was pleasantly surprising! The Rockford area is home to more than 10 courses.

If you want to head closer to the burbs Woodstock, Crystal Lake, and Lake in the Hills are homes to courses. For those who choose to travel more north Beloit, Lake Geneva, and Edgerton are good places to start!

Say you're completely new to Disc Golf and have no discs to throw, don't worry there are tons of options there too! I've seen them for sale at a couple of local grocery stores.

If you're looking to stay local to play, here are some amazing Disc Golf Courses in The Rockford area.
