Kids will not be required to learn cursive in Illinois.

I still have a callus on the inside of my middle finger from learning to write cursive as a kid. Looks like the art of writing like that isn't needed in Illinois anymore.
According to 25 News Weey, Governor Ruaner has rejected a measure requiring kids to learn how to use cursive handwriting.

So in the future, kids will not know how to sign any sort of documents. Kids won't know how to go back and read any sort of historical document. Sounds like a great idea for our future, right?

I will admit that I use my phone or IPad all the time. The technology bug has bit me hard and it's how I get by on a daily basis. But there are some "old school" ways of doing things that should not be ignored,
