Helpline to Combat Opioid Epidemic Launched by Gov. Rauner

A 24-hour hotline has been launched to help those battling opioid addiction. Governor Bruce Rauner has said that this hotline will provide a confidential place to talk, along with providing resources for addicts and their family members. He went on to say that this hotline will be a quick way for those struggling with addiction to gain access to resources, treatment options, and support. Rauner continued to say that he is focused on helping those affected by addiction get on the road to recovery, along with trying to combat further drug overdose tragedies.
