Help Support Our Rockford Area Veterans
I like to support as many charitable groups and events as possible in the Rockford community. I believe as residents, we should all get behind and help each other.
We have so many amazing organizations in our city that give a lending hand to those in need. There are definitely some fundraisers that catch my attention.
Whenever it comes to Military Veterans, especially in the state line, I want to make sure I am doing all I can for their benefit. They have sacrificed a lot for all of us.

What Is VetsRoll?
According to vetsroll.org,
"War Memorials in Washington, D.C. were built as tributes to the service and the ultimate sacrifice of America’s Veterans. We believe it is vitally important for every WWII Veteran, “Rosie-the-Riveter” and Veterans through 12/31/1966 to have the chance to visit and experience THEIR memorials. We provide the long-overdue gift of Closure *Gratitude *Respect that will fill their hearts, for the incredible sacrifices they made in the name of Freedom so many years ago!"
For many Rockford area Veterans, this is their only opportunity to visit our nation's capital and see the monuments built in their honor.
Check out this video of one of the trips leaving for Washington DC. It is pretty darn impressive to experience.
