First Portillos… Now This!? New Restaurant Coming to Rockford

We all just about lost our minds when Portillo's moved into Rockford.

I know I did. I live a mile from a Portillo's and I still freaked out. I couldn't stop thinking about chocolate cake shakes at my desk and beef sandwiches to greet my tummy after a long day at work. Ah, Portillo's you are amazing.

Now that I'm drooling, I figure I better tell you about what is next for the Stateline area.

In spring of 2016, I'll be able to start dreaming of Mango Habanero wings and hot cheddar cheese fries for lunch.

A new wing restaurant is coming to Rockford called Wing Stop. These are extremely popular across the country. The closest location to us in Rockford is DeKalb.

The new location will be at 3636 East State Street near the Dollar General at the Fairview Shopping Center according to WIFR.
