Unlocked Door At Illinois High School Led To A Very Strange Incident

A man from Illinois was arrested after breaking into a local high school, walking around with his pants off, and stealing several items.

I have no problem admitting that when I was younger, I liked to get into some mischief. Nothing too bad that would get me into serious trouble, but enough to make me feel like a rebel. Of course, when I became a responsible adult that all went away, as far as you know. Apparently, a 50-year-old man in Elmhurst still hasn't grown up.

According to Patch...

A man last month entered York High School's main vestibule through an unlocked door and, at one point, pulled down his pants, Elmhurst police said. He later went through an unsecured window at the school and stole items, police said.

During the summer, schools are interesting places. For the most part they are closed. There is some summer classes and sports camps. Also, it's the time of year when they work on any building improvement projects and do some deep cleaning. So, sometimes the building is left unlocked because students and faculty are coming and going.

Well, someone at York High School forgot to lock some of the doors at the end of the day. So during the middle of the night, a strange man walked into the building. He was riding his bike by the school when he decided to walk into the building. Once inside, he pulled down his pants and started washing himself. I hope it wasn't in a drinking fountain. He found some clothes in a classroom and put them on. Then he grabbed a backpack and took off.

The whole thing was caught on security cameras. The local police where able to identify the suspect and he was arrested. I bet those doors will now be double checked every night.
