Four guys in the Chicago suburbs were busted for selling counterfeit electronic products. These guys were old school. They approached people on the street trying to sell the stuff. Many victims fell for it.

The local police busted them with thousands of dollars in cash and hundreds of counterfeit electronics, including many Apple products. My favorite is that they were trying to unload a fake Dyson hair dryer, too. I think it will be a while before these guys try to sell anything again.

According to Fox 32 Chicago...

Four men were accused of running an electronics counterfeit ring in DuPage County worth more than half a million dollars, prosecutors said.

 

Salvatore Derosa, 50, Simone Signorelli, 23, Vincenzo Demartino, 49, and Luca Demartino, 25, were charged with possession of counterfeit items with intent to sell, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.
