Think about this, if you told your significant other you were going to a bar all day with your friends to get drunk, what would they say? Of course, the response would be no you're not.

Now, tell your better half that you're playing in a charity golf playday. Guess what, you'll get the green light every time. Then you end up drinking beer with your buddies all day. Oh yeah, it's for a good cause. Also, you're getting exercise. Trust me, it works.

I've been involved with many golf playdays in my life. Those things can get a little crazy and out of control. You better plan for a designated driver because the booze will be flowing. You'll wake up the next day with a bad hangover.

Well, a gentleman in Joliet let a golf playday get the best of him. He got really drunk and thought it would be a good idea to steal a golf cart. Maybe, he thought it was safer to drive home than his actual car. He ended up getting arrested for DUI and stealing. I'm guessing he won't be allowed to go golfing for a long time.
