Customs Thinks Honey is Meth, Man Spends 82 Days in Jail

A man returning from Jamaica with three jars of honey in his luggage spent 82 days in jail.

According to WIFR, Leon Haughton was visited by drug sniffing dogs and they were alerted to his honey. The CBP seized his honey, and they claimed the honey was in fact meth melted down.

A lab in Georgia did tests on the seized honey and found no drugs at all...The man spent 82 days in jail because of the mess up. This customs mess up ruined a lot for Leon:
