Chicken Spotted Wandering Around Rockford Neighborhood

Rockford neighborhood has chicken roaming the streets.

My neighborhood has a couple of internet and social media groups that I belong to. I think it's a good way to find out what's going on in my area. There's a good chance your community does too. I suggest signing up or at least checking them out. If nothing else, I can usually get a good laugh out of it.

Here's a perfect example. I live in the Rolling Green area. This photo was posted on our neighborhood Facebook group by Laurie Calvert.

The picture was taken a couple of days ago on East Gate and Broadway.

This could answer the age-old question. Why did the chicken cross the road? To social distance, of course.
