The Chicago Bears are probably the best investment of all time in any professional sport. Back in 1920 George Halas bought the team for $100. That would equal $1,500 today. Could you imagine purchasing an NFL franchise for $100? You can't even buy one ticket for a game for that kind of money.

So what are the Chicago Bears worth today? A current calculation for the team this year has them valued at over $6 billion. Too bad all investments aren't like that. Just think about how much the team will be worth once they build that new stadium.
