I've heard it many times in my life from coaches, managers, and co-workers. That is K.I.S.S., which stands for keep it simple, stupid. It's actually an easy way of thinking because I think many times we make work tasks way more difficult than they have to be.

I think that goes for crime, too. Criminals, especially thieves, make jobs much more complicated than they have to. I'm guessing that is a good reason why many of them get busted for their crimes. If they keep it simple, they might have a better success rate.
Recently, a group of thieves in the Chicago neighborhood of Bucktown did just that. The burglars kept their plan simple. They busted into a local smoke shop with hammers. Then, the suspects cracked open the display cases with hammers. Nice and easy. Guess what? They haven't been caught yet.

According to CBS News...
Two men armed with hammers broke into a smoke shop in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood on Monday night.
Chicago police said an employee told officers two men wearing masks used hammers to break into the store in the 2000 block of North Western Avenue around 8:40 p.m.
Police said the robbers used hammers to break glass and open a display case. The men took merchandise and ran off, police said.
