It doesn't seem like kids in Illinois are pulling neighborhood pranks anymore; the parents who are old enough to know better are now picking up the slack.

Illinois Police Arrest Man For Egging His Neighbor's House

It's funny because over the weekend, I went to visit my mom in the suburbs of Chicago. I saw something that I haven't seen in years. It was a house that got TP'd. Toilet paper has gotten too expensive, and it's way too easy to get busted with security cameras at many houses.

I'll admit, when I was younger. My friends and I were pretty mischievous and pulling pranks throughout our neighborhoods. We would TP and egg houses of people we didn't like. In the case that you got caught, the consequences weren't that severe.

You can get into some serious trouble for pulling a prank on someone like for example, egging your neighbor's house. Most kids aren't getting into that kind of trouble anymore. It seems like the parents are doing it instead, and they are old enough to know better.

A man who lives in Elmhurst was recently arrested. He was caught on a security camera throwing eggs at the house next door. By the way, he's no kid because the age on his license is 55. His neighbor pressed charges, and he was arrested.

According to Patch...

A 55-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 500 block of North Walnut Street was arrested about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday on a charge of criminal defacement of property.

 

Police said the man threw eggs at a neighbor's house.

 

 

Her cameras captured him on video. He was released.
