70-Year-Old Loves Park Man Busted Growing Weed

Well, that's one way to supplement your income. The only problem is he got caught.

According to police, Friday a Loves Park man was arrested for an alleged marijuana growing operation.

After receiving an anonymous tip that he was growing marijuana,  70-year-old Gary Donaldson was taken into custody from his home in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police have said that Donaldson was allegedly in the possession of more than 5 plants, but less than 20.

Donaldson has since been charged with possession with intent to deliver over 5,000 grams of cannabis and violation of the cannabis control act.
