A car with a stick shift prevented thieves in Wisconsin from stealing it.

It would be easy to make fun of someone who doesn't drive a manual transmission. The problem is I'm one of those people. I never learned how. My Dad had a long commute in traffic every morning for work so he thought to have one would be a pain. Since then, I never found it necessary to know how to do it.

Apparently, some car thieves in Madison, Wisconsin didn't either. Unfortunately, they didn't check their possible target before attempting to steal it.

According to mystateline.com,

"A stick shift dumbfounded car thieves preventing a car theft, They entered a home by using a garage door opener found inside the unlocked vehicle. They stole a purse and car keys, and started the car but could not operate it because they didn’t know how to operate a manual transmission."

I would love to see the security footage of this whole incident. I'm sure it was rather amusing.
