If you missed the 2019 Rockford IceHogs Wiener Dog Race, here's the video.

I'm a huge fan of minor league sports. It's not just about the actual game itself. It's about the whole presentation. Affordable fun family entertainment with cool giveaways and unique promotions. The Rockford IceHogs totally get it. They know how to host an event.

For example, this past Saturday was "Pucks and Paws Night." Of course, plenty of pet-related activities includes bringing your dog to the game with you.

Plus, it features one of my favorite in-game promotions of all-time, the annual Wiener Dog Race.

This was the 3rd year of the competition. The previous two were won by Darby.

The back-to-back champ was looking for the three-peat. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be.

There's a new top dog and his name is Pablo.
