U of I Football Going to Gray Uniforms

The traditional orange and blue will not be on the field this Saturday.

The Fighting Illini football team will be wearing gray uniforms this Saturday.

The reason they will be wearing these jerseys according to MyStateline.com will be because they will be remembering a former player known as the 'Gray Ghost.'

The 'Gray Ghost' is the late Harold 'Red' Grange who on a homecoming game 90 years ago where he scored six touchdowns in a win over Michigan.

Make sure to wear gray this weekend too!
