A failed attempt at stealing an ATM in Illinois ends with the machine being pulled out of the ground.

I would've loved to be a fly on the wall when these gentlemen made the decision to pull off this bank job. I can't believe no red flags popped up in their plan.

According to dailyherald.com,

"Thieves ripped an ATM at an Arlington Heights bank from its foundation but didn't get very far. Four offenders using a stolen pickup truck pulled the machine off its mount and attempted to drag it away but were unsuccessful in doing so. Police received a call from bank security about the attempted theft. Police recovered the ATM and the truck a short distance away. No suspects are in custody, but the investigation continues."

I hope they end up with some video footage of the whole incident.

It would be funny watching customers drive up to the ATM and wonder where it's at.
