As you drive around the Rockford area, the tributes to Officer Cox will bring a tear to your eye.

As I drove down Brendenwood to Parkview that other night, I counted 40 blue lights throughout all the side streets. The support, the love, and respect for fallen Officer Jaimie Cox is amazing.

As we prepared for what will be a weekend of heavy hearts, let's take a look at the local support for not only Officer Cox but his family and brothers and sisters in blue.
