After 5 years the Jefferson Street pedestrian bridge is finally open again. 

And it's pretty nice.

It was scheduled to open in the Fall of 2019 so a delay of only 9 months is actually pretty good considering how good we usually are at hitting construction deadlines around here.

I walked it today and as you can see in the video above it's clean, wide, and a whole heck of a lot nicer than walking at street level.

Apparently there are LED lights installed on the bridge that illuminate it at night. Looking forward to seeing that sometime later this summer.
