I would say that the majority of drivers in Illinois and Rockford go over the speed limit at least some of the time. There are times that it feels like I'm sitting still when a car goes by at a high rate of speed. I believe the biggest reason for speeding in Illinois is that the driver is running late. The question is, does speeding really help?

That doesn't really seem worth it, especially if you get a ticket. Actually, another thing learned was that going over the speed limit will cost you more money. First of all, you're burning more gas, which isn't cheap. Also, going faster and running your engine harder emits more pollution into the air. So, going the speed limit is better for the environment. Overall, take your time. You'll eventually get there.
