Who knew that Steve from the Netflix hit Stranger Things is in a Chicago band?

Well I didn't know that! At least not until I read an article from the RedEye.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Stranger Things. Thanks to a good friend of my husband and I, we were introduced to the new Netflix drama. I couldn't stop watching from the second the first episode ended.

I watched 4 episodes and stayed up way too late the first night, only to wake up at 5 a.m. to binge watch the last 4 episodes. I loved it so much that I'm pretty sure this coming weekend I'll binge watch the entire season on Sunday.

I can't get enough. (If you haven't watched it, you must.)

While my husband, our friend Q and I were watching the first few episodes, we all fell in love with the character Steve.

As soon as Steve came on the screen, Q exclamed, "Look! It's Jean-Ralphio from Parks and Recreation!" So it isn't really Jean-Ralphio, but looks just like a younger version of him.

We all had a good laugh and kept watching the show.

This morning I stumbled across an article written by Josh Terry in the RedEye. It's about my new favorite show, so of course I had to read it.

In the article, Josh points out that Joe Keery is a musician. Not just any musician, but one based in Chicago! He's a drummer in the band Post Animal.

Now, I've never heard of Post Animal before now, but it looks as if I'll have to start listening to their tunes! In the video below is the music video for their song 'When I Get Home.' Eh, not bad.
