If you grew up a fan of Bozo the Clown on television, you have a chance to meet him at an event in Wisconsin this fall.

Bozo The Clown Is Making An Appearance This Fall In Wisconsin

Some of my favorite memories as a child were going on the Bozo Show. I was lucky enough to go a handful of times as a kid, especially because it was such a hard ticket to get. I would watch the show every day. Also, I had some of the toys and merchandise. I still have a Bozo bobblehead, and a couple of years ago, I bought a Bozo shirt which I proudly wear. I think most people in Illinois who grew up in the Bozo era loved the show.

Unfortunately, like many things, Bozo Circus ran its course and ended after a long run on WGN TV. I sure do miss it. I wish it were still around when my daughter was growing up. I believe she would have liked it too. In fact, I wish the kids today still had Bozo. Too bad it doesn't play in reruns or stream somewhere.

As a big fan of Bozo, I just found out something really cool. On November 28th, there is a pop culture expo at Resch Expo Center in Green Bay. Bozo will be making an appearance at that event. There were many different Bozos through the years, so the one that is going to be there is Joey D’Auria, who played the famous clown from 1984 to 2001. Regardless of the era, he was still Bozo. I would love to attend so I could meet him.
