Rockford Thief Steals From Pizza Delivery Driver

Pizza delivery driver is robbed in Rockford.

It's been a while since there's been an incident like this one in the Forest City. There was an issue for a little bit but I made a plea to stop on the radio and it seemed to work. Hopefully, the problem isn't going to start back up. My main concern is with legal recreational marijuana in Illinois, there are a lot more pizzas being delivered around the state line. I want to make sure it's safe for the drivers.

According to mystateline.com,

"Rockford Police say they responded to a report of armed robbery to a pizza delivery driver around 11:40 a.m. on Sunday afternoon. The two suspects approached the driver as he walked up the residence. One of the suspects flashed a handgun and demanded cash. The two pizzas were also stolen."

Not only do I feel bad for the victim but it sucks for the customer too. Who orders pizza to be delivered on a Sunday at 11:40 am? You know they definitely had the munchies.
