Rockford Child Actor on Big Screen in ‘Sinister 2′

This is sure to be the scariest movie this summer.

I can't watch scary movies. Even at my age, I'm scared of the dark for crying out loud!

Caden Fritz, a Rockford native and 12-years-old, must not be afraid of anything. He's not afraid of Hollywood, bright lights or even ghosts. He will be playing a ghost in the upcoming movie Sinister 2.

Sinister came out in 2012 and starred Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance and James Ransone. According to IMDb, the film was about a true-crime writer who finds home movies that suggests that the murder he is researching is the work of a serial killer.

My husband saw the movie and loved it. I hid under the blankets in the other room.

The sequel, Sinister 2 will premiere August 20 in Rockford. Caden Fritz will be playing the role of Peter, a ghost who haunts the main characters WREX reports.

When the film comes out in Rockford at the Showplace 16, Caden will be on hand signing autographs at the theater.
