Illinois government officials may soon be forced to wear body cameras while conducting public business.

The government in the state of Illinois, led by the city of Chicago, has the longtime reputation of being corrupt.

How can it be stopped?

One of our local representatives might have a solution.

According to rrstar.com,

"All elected officials in Illinois would be required to wear body cameras while conducting public business if a bill sponsored by state Rep. John Cabello, R-Machesney Park, becomes law."

Cabello thinks it might be a good way to cut down on illegal activities.

The state rep is also realistic and doesn't believe he'll get much support for the bill.

I think it's a great idea.
