Porch Pirate Spotted Stealing From Rockford Home In Sox Gear

I can't figure out which is more entertaining - the police referring to this man as a "porch pirate" or the man being caught on camera in a Chicago White Sox Hat and black shirt. Either way, it happened and now he's a wanted me. (Not in a good way.)

Rockford Police Department shared surveillance images of a man they're calling "porch pirate," but I'm calling him a disgruntled Sox fan. The guy was caught stealing a package off of a porch on 21st Avenue on the southeast side of Rockford. And, according to WREX, the package was a gift for a child. Come on, man!

Porch Pirate's Description:

• White Male with a large build
• Black Chicago White Sox Hat
• Black Long Sleeve Shirt
• Black or Dark Pants
