Patrick Kane case dismissed after rape allegations.

Blackhawks fans have been closely following every twist and turn in the rape case against Patrick Kane.

According to ABC 7 Chicago, Patrick Kane has been dismissed.

As a quick recap, in August, a 21-year-old woman said she was raped by Patrick Kane in his home in Hamburg, New York after a night out at the bars.

The Hamburg police and the Erie County District Attorney's Office showed inconsistencies between witnesses and the woman's version of events.

DNA, physical evidence and forensic evidence contradicted her claim as well.

The woman decided not to move forward with criminal prosecution and the stress of the investigation has taken it's toll on her and her family.

More details about the case will be shared only in confidence with lawyers for Kane, the complainant and Hamburg police.
