First off, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the moms out there!! We appreciate and love you all.

Secondly, thank you to everyone that sent in pics for the "Finally, Back Out With Mom" contest, you guys are awesome.

For Mother's Day 2021, we are celebrating FINALLY, going back out with mom. It could be a nice dinner, drinks, a coffee, a walk in the park or on the beach...we received some super good and creative pictures.

With that said, congrats to Leah and her mom Chris posing for this great pic on the beach...so awesome! We have for Leah and mom, dinner at GreenFire Restaurant and a WM DaySpa gift card!

Did you know that Mother's Day comes in at #3 for the occasion most greeting cards are send? The Guardian

  • 8. St. Patrick's Day - 7 million
  • 7. Thanksgiving - 13 million
  • 6. Halloween - 17 million
  • 5. Easter - 57 million
  • 4. Father's Day - 93 million
  • 3. Mother's Day - 141 million
  • 2. Valentine's Day 151 million
  • 1. Christmas - 1.6 billion

I guess a "birthday" card doesn't qualify for this list...I don't ever remember sending or receiving a St Patrick's Day card.

Spend some time, whether it's a phone call or even a Zoom/Teams call. Communication even if it's a how's the weather is better than nothing. Sure a card is nice, but that personal touch for sure goes a long way.

Congrats once again to Leah and her mother Chris. Dinner at GreenFire and a WM DaySpa prize pack is a great way to spend Mother's Day 2021...FINALLY, back out with mom.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.

Stacker used data from the 2020 County Health Rankings to rank every state's average life expectancy from lowest to highest. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

Read on to learn the average life expectancy in each state.
