The Illinois Lottery announced last Tuesday that their lastest instant ticket will go to help homelessness.

The new ticket is called Easy 1-2-3 and will cost two dollars. (Insert Better Off Dead jokes now!) Players will have the chance to win up to $20,000.

Profits from the newest instant game will go to the Homeless Prevention Revenue Fund and will then be used by the Illinois Department of Human Services.

This is a program that provides things like rental and utility assistance, along with supporting services related to preventing homelessness. It also helps people spend less time in shelters and helps find affordable housing.
