When it comes to entertainment in Rockford, there is one thing that I know the residents of our city really enjoys and supports is live comedy shows.

It does not matter if it's a small show at a neighborhood tavern, a weekly show, monthly, or even quarterly. Those events will pack the house.

Even the big comedy shows at the BMO Harris Bank Center and the Coronado Performing Arts Center will sell out.

The Coronado Performing Arts Center Is My Favorite Venue For Comedy

In fact, I love going to the Coronado for live stand-up. It is the perfect venue for that type of comedy.

Plus, the Coronado does a great job of booking it into the building. In fact, they have a full schedule coming up for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Besides comedy, they have a bunch of other great concerts and shows too.
