Some of you may not have known this about me, but my commute to work is no easy task. I travel just about 80 miles, one way, to work every morning and do the drive every night going home. It's become increasingly difficult with the cold weather. Some days I just can't warm up.

While I could sit and complain about my commute, I have absolutely no right to. At least I have the protection of my car, heat in my car, and not to mention driving is much faster than what Dennis Schultze plans on doing.

Dennis Schultze from Beloit is making the trek from Beloit to Wrigley Field in nothing more than his wheelchair, according to WTVO.

Dennis was involved in a serious accident years ago which resulted in an amputation of his leg. He survived and is every grateful. He now is taking his wheelchair out on the road to raise money for his favorite charities to show his appreciation for life.

Dennis left Friday from Beloit and set out on his trip to Wrigley Field. Yes, in this awfully bitter cold, ice and snow, he and his wheelchair are hitting the road.

WOW!

The trip is expected to last about two weeks. If you happen to see Dennis on a street near you, please give him words of encouragement and praise or make a donation.

The charities that the donations will go to are the Alzheimer's Association, Hope Lodge Cancer and March of Dimes, all which are near and dear to his heart for various reasons.
