I read the headline out loud at my desk with joy and Mike screamed, "now that is something I have to have!"

You don't understand, Mike is the most quiet and reserved guy I know, until he gets a few beers in him. If he is excited about K-cup soup... than I know you will be too.

It's no surprise that Keurig's sales are down. I see things on social media all the time telling people to ditch their Keurigs and get back to using a coffee pot.

I say no way. I don't even drink coffee, but I have a Keurig. Sure, I haven't used it since last fall to make my daily night cup of tea, but I can't drink hot stuff between March and August. One hot food I can eat year round is soup.

Mom makes the best chicken noodle soup for the record, but when I can't get mom's soup, I can have some from my trusty Keurig.

According to WTVO, Keurig Green Mountain is combining forces with Campbell's soup for Fresh-Brewed Soup in a K-cup.

The new product will require a 12- oz. coffee mug, a packet of noodle soup mix and a K-Cup of broth. The broth will come in Homestyle Chicken and Southwest Style Chicken. Just dump the noodle packet in the cup and let the Keurig take care of the K-cup.

This is Keurig's first expansion beyond beverages and I think it will be a big hit. The soup will be quick for at work or at home when you aren't really feeling too hot. The soup is only 70 calories and will have no artificial colors or flavors.
