Popular Christmas Train Returns to Byron With a Special Musical Guest
The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train just announced its scheduled stops for this season, and one just outside Rockford made the list.
It's been a couple of years since the Holiday Train came through town, but that changes on Tuesday, November 24, just a few days before Thanksgiving.

CPKC Holiday Train Returns to Byron November 24
The Holiday Train is scheduled to return to Byron, stopping from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tower Road, right near Byron High School.
You know they have entertainers at every stop, right? This year, the band MAGIC! and singer MARIS will be stopping. Personally, I hope they play Rude because that would be incredible. Hearing one of the catchiest songs of the 2010s performed live from a train car? That's pretty wild.
Holiday Train Concert Is Free and Supports Local Food Banks
Other things you may not know: the CPKC Holiday Train's main mission is to raise money and collect food for local food banks. Since it's totally free, if you're going, consider bringing cash or nonperishable food to donate.
Other stops include Pingree Grove on the same day and then Gurnee on December 8. The train will also stop in nearby Wisconsin, including Sturtevant and Caledonia on December 8.
