Is Something Moving into the Former Chen’s Location in Loves Park?

I miss Chen's and just not for their amazing Mai Ti's!

This Loves Park favorite sadly closed it's doors for the last time back in February of 2017.

A year later the Rockford Register Star reported that the building would soon be home to Frieda Lee.

But here it is two years later and the building is still sitting vacant.

I live pretty close to here and over the last couple of days I've noticed some vehicles in the parking lot and the for sale sign is no longer up. So that has me wondering if something is finally going to occupy this building once again.

Will it be Frieda Lee? Or something else entirely?
