Region 1 (Northern Illinois) has met the requirements to enter "tier one," allowing for indoor bar and dining...let's eat my friends. WIFR

The Illinois Department of Public Health has stated that we can now enter tier one, which allows bars and restaurants to be open until 11pm and then then can reopen the next day at 6am. Other rules include:

  • Tables 6 feet apart
  • A max of four people per table
  • Bars must serve food to be open

A friendly reminder, you still have a responsibility to protect yourself, and those around you. Simple steps such as covering your mouth when you cough, washing your hands frequently, and sanitizer usage is a good thing.

We are allowed to go out and be social once again, while the Chicago area remains closed down. What an amazing spring and summer we will all have in 2021 if we can be cool and play our cards right.

We have a lot of friends and family in the area that own, manage, cook, wait tables, and serve you your favorite adult beverage...They have been hurting for a while, so get out there safely and spend money. Get a dessert when the waiter/waitress asks, buy a round of drinks for the nearest table (6 feet away) and for the love of EVERYTHING...tip and tip and TIP again.
