If you're looking for some family entertainment this summer, I highly suggest checking out an airshow in Illinois or Wisconsin.

Illinois And Wisconsin Air Shows This Summer

One of my favorite things to do in the summer as a kid was going to air shows. Growing up, it seemed like they were happening all the time. It was one of those things I remember my whole family enjoyed so we went whenever possible.

There aren't as many anymore but the ones still going strong put on great shows. I really miss the Rockford Air Show. That was always a good time with amazing entertainment.

Luckily, there are still a few to check out this summer. One of my favorites is the Air and Water Show in Chicago. The only problem is the event draws thousands of people from all over the state. Sometimes, it's hard to find a good spot to watch.

If you want to avoid those huge crowds, there are a couple of other air shows in Illinois and also in Wisconsin. Fewer people but still really good performances. I've met a few pilots through the years and they're very interesting people to speak with.

I highly recommend grabbing the family and going to at least one air show this summer. I've found some in Illinois and Wisconsin that you might want to go check out. I'm pretty sure you'll be glad you did.
