The residents of Rockford, Illinois are big fans of motorcycles and comedians, so why not combine them for a big weekly blowout called "Mics and Bikes" featuring open mic comedy and a bike night?

This is something that has never been done before in Rockford. I've never heard of this combination of entertainment ever happening anywhere in Illinois together. Think of it like putting peanut butter and chocolate together for the very first time. It turned into something very delicious.

This one-of-a-kind evening will be happening on Wednesday nights at Murphy's Pub (510 South Perryville Road) in Rockford. Come by for dinner and drinks plus stick around for the entertainment thanks to J & J Gaming Entertainment. There will be food and drink specials along with some fun giveaways.

The fun at Murphy's Pub in Rockford kicks off every Wednesday at 6:30 pm with Bike Night. Hop on your motorcycle and cruise out for a great evening. There's plenty of parking for your ride and you can hang out on the patio. No bike is required.

At 7:30 pm, the night moves inside Murphy's Pub for open mic comedy night. Your hosts are Comedian Dobie Maxwell and Double T. It will be a good opportunity for new up-and-coming comedians in the area to get some stage time in front of an audience. Each week one of the newbies will move on to a special comedy night down the road.

This is an excellent chance for comedy fans to check out these new faces of entertainment before they become big stars. It's going to be a fun night of laughs but don't worry we'll get you hope early because it's a school night and you have to work in the morning.
