There are numerous stories in the news about criminals attempting to commit foolish crimes. You would think that at some point, these lawbreakers would finally learn their lessons and not repeat the mistakes of others. Apparently, they ignore all the signs.

Here is another perfect example. I don't have any idea how these criminals think they can just steal money from their companies and get away with it. The majority of the time, these embezzlers get busted. Especially, school employees, because everything is on such a tight budget.
This suspect was working at Prospect High School. He had the responsibility to order tools and supplies for the district. Then, the guy thought it would be a great idea to start adding some stuff for himself. In total, he was arrested for embezzling $37,000 worth of tools. No way that was slipping through the cracks.

An employee of Township High School District 214 has been charged with a felony for reportedly making at least $37,000 in repeated unauthorized purchases at various Home Depot locations with the school district credit card.
Jorge V. Villagomez, 42, of the 1700 block of Locust Place, Schaumburg, is accused of theft of government property and was arrested Wednesday, according to Arlington Heights police.
In August, police received a report from the district regarding the misuse of a school district credit card by Villagomez, who was the building and grounds supervisor for Prospect High School.
