Ranking states about who is the happiest is some serious, scientific stuff. At least Illinois isn't last.

According to WREX, Hawaii ranked #1 as the happiest state. Hawaii finished:

#1 in Emotional & Physical Well-Being
#30 in Work Environment

#4 in Community & Environment

Illinois finished as the 23rd "Happiest State" while West Virginia finished last. Wisconsin finished 11th.
