Illinois Man Stuck In Tree For 11 Hours After Being Chased By Dog

After being chased by a vicious dog, an Illinois man was stuck in a tree for eleven hours.

My uncle was a police officer for several years. His pet was a retired K-9 dog. I remember as a kid, it would scare me. I didn't want to go anywhere near it. The animal even bit my Mom once. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. My family always had one when I was growing up. It was the mean ones that I was afraid of.

This situation would have freaked me out.

According to mystateline.com,

"Southern Illinois authorities say a man was seriously injured when he spent a night trapped in a tree he’d scaled to escape an attacking dog. A woman heard the man calling for help and found him stuck in a tree."

"The man told firefighters who rescued him after about 11 hours in the tree that he’d climbed it after a dog chased him, but his knee became lodged in a fork in the tree, trapping him there. His knee was seriously injured due to a lack of circulation."
