Illinois has always been a good place for concerts. Where it's centrally located in the United States makes it easier to route bands through our area. It doesn't hurt to have Chicago on our side either. Plus, there are a lot of secondary markets in our state. Back in the day before radius clauses, artists could hit Springfield, Peoria, Champaign, and Rockford on the same leg of a tour.
