Not only is this one of the best flea markets in Illinois but it will also be featuring one of my favorite TV characters as a child, Bozo The Clown.

When I was growing up, every kid watched and loved "The Bozo Show," of course, starring Bozo The Clown. It was so popular that fans had to wait years to get tickets to be part of the live studio audience. My mom started sending in ticket requests when she was pregnant with me. The first time I went to the show, I was eight years old. That's quite the waiting list. I was lucky enough to go a handful of times.

Bozo was definitely the most popular kids show in Illinois, especially in the Chicago area. There were tons of Bozo toys and merchandise released back in those days. I remember having a Bozo doll. I wish I still had some of that stuff today because I bet it's worth a lot of money.

"The World Famous Wheaton All-Night Flea Market" is coming on Saturday, August 19th from 3 pm to 1 am. It's held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. Of course, there are all the great bargains but they always feature some special activities too. This year it will include Bozo The Clown.

There will be an appearance by Joey D’Auria. He was Bozo The Clown on the show from 1984 to 2001. Plus, there will be a Bozeum featuring the history of Bozo The Clown.

In this fun display showcasing 100’s of original vintage Bozo the Clown treasures from 1946 to 2023, “The BOZEUM” will have a unique emphasis on rare promotional and advertising memorabilia from the hugely popular Chicago TV shows: “BOZO’S CIRCUS” and “The BOZO SHOW” from 1961 to 2001.
