Several years ago, I got the opportunity to interview Guy Fieri. It was a lot of fun. The dude is super passionate about food. You gotta love that. I believe it would be an exciting experience to go out to eat with him.

I think Illinois is the perfect place for him to visit during one of his adventures. Our state is one of the best ones in the United States for food. Guy always seems to enjoy himself and the restaurants when he's here.

What is really cool about Fieri is he just doesn't stick with the high-end places that normal people will never try. He goes to the little local restaurants. That's why people really enjoy his shows.

I've had the opportunity to check out a couple of his places from "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." The first one was Triple XXX Family Restaurant in Lafayette, Indiana. Great breakfast. In Illinois, I've been to Kuma's Corner. Amazing burgers.
