There is a phrase that is always running through my brain. That is "make good decisions." There was a time in my life when I never did. Someone gave me that advice and it stuck with me ever since. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't.

Pair Of Dumb Gun Arrests In Illinois

There were recently a couple of gun-related arrests down in Joliet. If these couple of guys had made good decisions, they wouldn't be in jail like they are now. I'll share their stories so you don't make those mistakes.

An officer was on patrol when he saw a car sitting on the side of the road and it was still running. He stopped to check out the situation. The driver was so drunk, he passed out in the driver's seat of the vehicle.

The cop noticed that the suspect was snuggling with something while he was sleeping. Was it a pillow, blanket, or even a teddy bear? No, it wasn't any of those things. The guy had a loaded gun. He was arrested for a whole laundry list of charges.

During the second incident, a couple had just gotten home. They have to park behind their house in an alley. When they pulled up, a guy was urinating by their fence. The driver honked his horn at the man. The suspect got really mad. Maybe, the loud noise gave him stage fright.

He pulled out a gun and started threatening the victims. Once the suspect was done with his "business," he hopped in his car and took off. The homeowners called the police. They were able to track him down in just a few minutes. He is also facing several changes.
