There seems to be a rise in incidents of people jumping fences and gates at zoos to be closer to the animals. Some guy wants to pet a tiger? Well, jump in the tiger pen and pet one. Swim with the stingrays? Sure, just ignore the lesson learned by the Crocodile Hunter himself.

So, when I got to work this morning and read about a twenty-four year old California woman who jumped in to the giraffe enclosure at the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, I wasn't as surprised as I probably should have been.

The Henry Vilas Zoo is a fun way to spend the day with the family and admission is free. Kicks to the face? Priceless. Enjoy the animated reenactment.
