From Minnesota to Rockford, Storms Could be Damaging Tonight

The heat and humidity are climbing, brace yourself Rockford tonight could get ugly.

According to former 'Rockford Weather Guru" Eric Sorensen, now the main weather man at WQAD in the Quad Cities, tonight we could experience some huge and damaging storms locally.

According to Eric, there is a significant risk of severe storms from Minneapolis to Rockford between the hours of 11pm and 5am. Storms will be moving very quickly, as fast as 80 mph. These high winds are strong enough to do incredbile damage.

It looks like the worst of it could reach us early Thursday morning while we try to sleep.
