Florida Woman Attacks Boyfriend with Artificial Christmas Tree

Krystall Graham, of Clearwater, FL, had police called to her home after an argument turned into a domestic battery.

According to the affidavit, Krystall started arguing with her boyfriend, Jason, when he turned the TV volume up too loud while she was sleeping. As the argument blew up to something more, Krystall pulled apart the family's Christmas tree and began throwing the sections of the tree at Jason, hitting him in the face and torso.

The officer noted that he "Observed scratches and abrasions to the left side of his face, underneath the front part of his neck, and on the entire left side of his stomach."

The two had been together for close to eight years and had a child together, who was present with a half sibling during the attack.

Krystall was taken to the Pinellas County Jail on a misdemeanor count of domestic battery, and was released on her own recognizance early this morning.
