Exploring The Lights And Trains At Nicholas Conservatory
This week for Things Double T Has Never Done In Rockford, I visit Nicholas Conservatory to check out the All Aglow Exhibit.
With the help of my friend Andrea at the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, I've been experiencing things new in town. It's a little segment I like to call "Things Double T Has Never Done In Rockford."
This week, we visit the Nicholas Conservatory. They are hosting their annual holiday exhibit called All Aglow.
"Celebrate the holidays at Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens! Come see sparkling holiday lights and beautiful floral displays inside the warm tropical conservatory. Outdoor grounds are also decorated for the season."
It's a really beautiful display that everyone should take time to see.
This year they added something new Sinnissippi Station Model Garden Railroad.
"Be transported to a magical miniature world as six G-scale trains and trolleys run down, around, and above you - all in the lush tropical setting of the Nicholas Conservatory. Miniature Rockford landmarks and willow trestle bridges add to the enchanting ambiance. Sinnissippi Station Garden Train Exhibit was established through a grant from the Nicholas Family Foundation."
It's so much fun to see.
I was lucky enough to get a guided tour of both. I made a little video about it. I hope you enjoy it.

Rockford should definitely be very proud of this holiday event.
