Crowbar Attack At Illinois Party Sparks Police Intervention
It's all fun and games until someone pulls out a crowbar at a party in Illinois, and the police are called to the scene.
Illinois Police Are Called To A Party That Is Out Of Control
I've been to some pretty crazy parties back in my younger days. There was an occasional fight. I think most people would rather have a good time instead of getting punched in the face, because that hurts a lot more than a hangover.

Then, there are the parties you see in the movies. The kind that are totally out of control and wouldn't happen in real life. Like the one in "Sixteen Candles." Well, maybe they could actually happen. The perfect example recently just happened in Joliet.
The local police were called to break up a party that got out of control. They were called about someone running around the bash with a crowbar and hitting people with it. When they arrived on the scene, the owners of the home wouldn't let the officers in.

The couple ended up getting arrested for trying to stop the cops from investigating the scene. They resisted arrest and even put their hands on the officers after being warned. The police found out the identity of the crowbar subject. They went to his house, but he refused to come out. He'll be arrested in the near future.
According to Patch...
A neighborhood party in the Plainfield area of Joliet was the backdrop for chaos on Labor Day Weekend as Joliet police hauled away two members of the Borla family in handcuffs after someone else was accused of chasing after people at the party, hitting them with a crowbar.
The suspect with the crowbar was later identified and located at his residence.
However, he did not step outside to meet with officers, police said.
